Paris EcoTrail: a good first experience for Candriam

Since the launch of its first SRI (Sustainable & Responsible Investment) fund in 1996, Candriam has been a responsible investor, as demonstrated both by its investments and its internal engagements, which see the company participating in various solidarity-related initiatives throughout the year.

In March, 60 Candriam staff members took part in the 9th Paris EcoTrail, an ecological and solidarity-based event comprising ten or so different trails and hikes through the woods, forests and parks of the capital’s surroundings.

Part of the profits from the trail go to associations that comply with environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. Following the 2015 trail, for example, the National Forestry Office, the Apprentis d’Auteuil, the Palace of Versailles and the Rire Médecin (the “Healing Smile”) were each handed a cheque for more than 5000 euros by the organisers.
